Water Damage – Westmoreland Mobile Home
Water damage to this Westmoreland residential city-owned mobile home was caused by the washing machine supply line bursting. The water damage was obvious, but mold damage was also discovered when SERVPRO of El Centro / Salton City industry trained technicians performed a thorough damage assessment. The before photo shows the water damaged subflooring after the floor covering had been removed. The after photo shows the subflooring removed so the structure could be dried and sanitized. Commercial air movers and dehumidifiers were used to aid the drying process. Once dried an antimicrobial solution was applied to inhibit future mold growth. Then the reconstruction of the subflooring could be started.
