When Dealing With Fire Damage
There are several things that will be left behind after a fire. There will obviously be damage from direct contact with the fire, but there may also be soot, debris, smoke damage, and maybe even water damage from firefighting efforts.
Soot and debris are not the most difficult part of cleanup as they are immediately visible. This makes their removal far simpler than dealing with something like smoke damage.
Smoke damage is difficult to deal with because it gets into everything. Bedding, carpets, curtains, clothing, furniture, walls, and anything else that can be washed or cleaned must be cleaned in order to help remove the smell of smoke from your home.
